The
International Econophysics Conference
Econophysics
is a recently coined term for the emerging interdisciplinary activity
which bridges physics and economic sciences. During the last few years
interesting results were produced based on physics concepts and tools
in a series of related fields including Economic Data Analysis (including
time series, cross section and panel data), Empirical Analysis and Essential
Models of Financial Markets, Empirical Laws in Financial Fluctuation,
Risk Calculations or Risk Assessments, Correlation and Complexity in Financial
Markets, Micro-modeling and Macro-modeling of Financial Markets and Company
Dynamics.
This
Econophysics Conference is designed to provide a facilitating interdisciplinary
forum where physicists, economists and mathematicians can be effectively
interact for the better understanding of the dynamic world of economy
Internationally renown experts in physics, mathematics, economy and finance
are expected to participate, exchange ideas and contribute to the fruitful
synergy.
In
recent years a growing number of physicists have begun working with economists
on a set of problems of interest to both disciplines. Many of these problems
can be attacked better from the interaction of experts on the related
fields. The aim of this meeting is to provide a forum where economists,
finance experts, physicists and mathematicians can share recent results
in common fields of interest.
